Congrats on the 3-man Niclas!
I had a great week for the most part, with 12 wins throughout my stables which my be a record for me. Sadly my three stakes runners struggled, all finished in the bottom half of their fields. :( Only one win with my Ireland stables when Silver Plated won an allowance. But got great second place finishes from Irish All-Star and Sing Symfonic in allowances, setting career high SP's of 92 and 110. Yes run a 110 and finish second in an allowance, that seems to be the way of things these days. |

Woot! Cigars and champagne all around! Ireland is now home to the 2000 Guineas winner! Who would have thought it would be a Colorado bred? LOL!

there's a turf Triple Crown? What races are they?
He's sharp this week, so he'll be training for the St. James Palace. |

Yeah Alicyn,
It's the English Triple Crown I was thinking of. I didn't know about it either until Obliging Zgreat won the 2000 Guineas a couple years back and somebody asked if I was going to try for it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Triple_Crown_Winners I think the Epsom Derby is the Derby de English in the sim, or at least it was when OZ ran in it, followed by the Saint Ledge Stakes later in the year, also at Epsom. In any case, great job, and continued good luck with that great horse. |
