Somewhat disappointed for me. It seems that this first batch of 2yr olds that ran well for me initally have little heart to move up. Every year... pretty
much the same, I'm afraid. Oh well, perhaps another way the good Lord is keeping me humble or perhaps a continual lesson in patience...
Here is one that started out well too and then seemed to fizzle until I ran her on turf. Holy Anger, # 156829, is getting better... a lesson in patience and as Dan always wisely instructs... try "both" surfaces with every horse even if it seems to prefer the first you try.
The race
Boy, I do though sometimes get a bit envious of those that get a great horse initially and then it becomes a champion (getting even better) when moved up in class. ;)
No muss no fuss...
In my attempts to improve myself... I must concentrate on the joy others receive when they beat my nags... LOL.
