I hate to breed over my first derby runner but I think it's time for him to go. I'm thinking either Ghostzapper or AP Indy. What suggestions do you
have? Thanks

You really can't go far wrong with AP Indy at the moment, and if you want a dirt runner you are nearly guaranteed one by using him.
Awesome Again could be another option. If you want to gamble a little I'd try maybe Danehill Dancer or Streetcry (maybe his new 1st year sire Street Sense) but people I know have been burnt using Streetcry before his either brilliant or a dud. Even though the horse had a strong dirt career, he has good turf breeding lines as well so you have lots of options, if you want to go the turf way you could use Sadlers Wells or High Chapparal or something along those lines. Definately worth having a go with.. good luck.. hope ya get a goody.. |

I would keep the horse in your stable for the next 7 years. Then breed as a 12 year old.
